I changed the lines in my phpbb3.inc.php as you suggested and did the following:
- uploaded edited phpbb3.inc.php
- enabled bridging
- logged out.
- Logging in at coppermine --> got redirected to phpbb. Logged in there. --> No redirect back to cpg
